About Us

About Us

We laid the foundation for Aras Kargo in 1989 with our decision to transfer our strength in the distribution network, which we had achieved with Aras Distribution and Marketing, founded by Celal Aras in 1979, to transport. The innovations we have brought to the sector since our inception have improved our quality of service, and we continue our partnership with Austrian Post, which began in 2013 with a 25% shareholding and continues today with an 80% majority shareholding in Austrian Post. With 14 regional headquarters, 28 hubs, nearly 1,000 branches, 2,000 Aras Burası access points and nearly 16,000 employees, we knock on an average of 1 million doors every day.

Since 2016, the end-to-end technological investments we have made have transformed us from an operating company to a technology company, and we continue our efforts dedicated to shaping the parcel delivery experience of the future.

Today, by creating an entirely new parcel delivery experience with technological investments, we have become a key player in the industry doing business with automation with our investments implemented in line with ever-changing consumer expectations. Being one of the e-commerce sector's most preferred and trusted business partners, we serve tens of thousands of corporate customers.

As a company that promotes and believes in the power of transformation, we strive to contribute to the environment, society, and the economy and continue to add value to the Turkish economy. In 2021, we signed the UN Global Compact, the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative. We have embarked on our journey to zero carbon emissions with a roadmap we call the Sustainability Route. We are also proud to have published the industry's first sustainability report in September 2022, with the aim of carrying all that is good and valuable in all our activities from today into tomorrow.
