Aras Kargo takes on responsibility to reduce the harm that city life gives to stray animals, and to make life easier for the animals in their natural environment. Keeping water bowls in all branches, regional directorates and transfer hubs in order to prevent stray animals from becoming dehydrated especially in summer months, Aras Kargo has delivered a total of 7,500 water bowls to date.

Nature-Friendly Aras platform which Aras Kargo established in line with the vision of protecting the nature in 2014, carried out many eco-friendly projects until now. For a more livable world and to preserve the natural life, Aras Kargo has not forgotten the stray animals. Aras Kargo keeps water bowls in front of all branches, regional directorates and transfer hubs in order to prevent stray animals from becoming dehydrated in hot summer days and to support their struggle for life. Aras Kargo that wants to make the life of stray animals easier in the city and to create social awareness in this regard distributed a total of 7,500 water bowls in the last two years.

Environmental friendly pratices from Aras Kargo

Aras Kargo wishes to leave a livable world to future generations and aims to prevent thousand tons of carbon emission thanks to its nature-friendly electric vehicles added to its vehicle fleet in 2011. Aras Kargo will create benefit which can be created by planting approximately 18 thousand trees in the nature and use materials that can 100 percent dissolve in nature.

Aras Kargo planted approximately 140 thousands saplings so far in the scope of its ‘Yeşile Hayat, Hayata Yeşil Projesi’ carried out in partnership with CEKUL in order to protect the environment heritage. The company which has achieved a significant contribution to the conservation of ecological balance by collecting 500 kg of waste from sea shores in 2016 in cooperation with Nature-Friendly Aras Team and TURMEPA, also provides 25 percent energy savings thanks to the LED lighting and photocell systems used in the transfer hubs.
