Aras Kargo, one of Türkiye's leading shipping companies, has once again achieved great

success at the prestigious “Golden Leader Awards.” Following a vote involving hundreds of

companies and tens of thousands of employees, Aras Kargo won awards in all

categories—Most Popular CEO, CFO, CMO, and CHRO—and also received Türkiye's Golden

The Golden Leader Awards, widely known as “Türkiye's Most Prestigious Leadership Awards,” were

held for the fourth time this year, with more than 70,000 business figures participating from all over

Türkiye. Aras Kargo once again proved its excellence with awards in the CEO, CFO, CMO, and CHRO

categories at this event. Aras Kargo, which received awards in all categories, also won Türkiye's

Golden Leaders Grand Award.

The results announced at the event held between January 13 and 16th, 2025, revealed that Utku

Ayyarkın, General Manager and Board Member of Aras Kargo, won the “Türkiye's 50 Most Admired

CEOs” award. The company's CFO, Barbara Hagen, received the “Türkiye's Most Admired CFO”

award, while Human Resources Deputy General Manager Selda Özacar was selected as “Türkiye's

Most Admired CHRO.” Billur Burkutoğlu, Deputy General Manager of Marketing, Corporate

Communications, and Customer Experience, received the “Türkiye's Most Admired CMO” award.

“The secret to success is teamwork”

Aras Kargo General Manager Utku Ayyarkın touched upon the power of teamwork while accepting

his award, and said, “At Aras Kargo, we keep taking big steps in the industry with over 45 years of

experience. Thanks to our experience and knowledge, we understand all our stakeholders and

position ourselves as a value-creating organization. The experience we've gained over the years is

helping us move forward with more confidence. I would like to thank my valuable colleagues, whose

ideas, efforts, and beliefs have made this success possible, for always showing that the secret to our

success lies in teamwork.”. 

During his speech, Ayyarkın pointed out his vision for leadership and his support for sports, saying,

“In the new century, the biggest responsibility of leaders is to raise young leaders who can add value

to Türkiye's growth and pass on the torch. In a digitalizing and changing world, we work to

understand all our stakeholders and offer them solutions that will create value. With our vision of

“carrying everything that is good and valuable today into tomorrow,” we shape all our activities in

line with our sustainability and social benefit strategy. As part of this, we also strongly believe in the

unifying power of sports. We have been a brand that has supported sports for years. Last year, we

established the Aras Kargo Women's Volleyball Team in Izmir. Our team managed to reach the

Turkish Women's Volleyball League (Sultans League) within a year, and we are currently competing in

this league.” 

Aras Kargo also awarded Türkiye's Golden Leaders Grand Prize

Utku Ayyarkın, General Manager of Aras Kargo and winner of Türkiye's 50 Most Admired CEOs

award, also received the Golden Leaders Grand Prize, which is granted to a handpicked few

companies that win awards in four different categories at the award ceremony.

Ayyarkın also expressed his special thanks to the employees in the sector in his speech, adding, “As

Aras Kargo, we are proud of our principles and achievements, and we are honored to have been

recognized with awards in four categories and to have won the ‘Golden Leaders of Türkiye Grand

Award’ for the second time. As I accept this award, I would like to extend my gratitude to our

esteemed Board of Directors, all our stakeholders who have been a source of inspiration for our

success, our customers across the country, and our beloved employees who have walked this path

with us. I accept this prestigious award on behalf of all our couriers who have overcome numerous

challenges with great dedication, even under extraordinary conditions such as harsh weather and
