Aras Kargo Sports Club, the brand-new team of the 2023-2024 KFC Turkey Women's Volleyball 1st League, will compete in the Play-Off in its very first season in its own history. Utku Ayyarkın, General Manager and Board Member at Aras Kargo; "Our team's success proves the determination of our managers, coaching staff/support staff and players."

Aras Kargo Sports Club, joining the KFC Türkiye Women's Volleyball 1st League for the 2023-2024 season, won against Yeşilyurt Sports Club with a 3-0 victory and qualified to compete in the play-offs for the first time in its own history.

In the 20th week of the league, Aras Kargo Sports Club, which beat its opponent with sets of 25-23, 25-22 and 25-14 in the match played in Alsancak Atatürk Volleyball Hall, achieved to write its name in the play-off round. 

Aras Kargo Sports Club, founded by Aras Kargo, Türkiye's leading and groundbreaking shipping company, with Suphi Doğancı as the head coach and Gülçin Doğan as the captain, will fight for promotion to the Sultans League after a successful season. 

Head Coach Suphi Doğancı commented after the Yeşilyurt match, "We began the season with the ambition of qualifying for the Sultans League. In order to achieve this goal, we had to move forward step by step. The first step was to be among the top 4 in our league and qualify for the play-offs. We are proud to accomplish this milestone before the end of the league, and we are very proud to have achieved such a victory in the first year of the club's history. I believe that we will be victorious in this tournament with a high concentration; I congratulate all my teammates and fellow players.".

Utku Ayyarkın, General Manager and Board Member at Aras Kargo, added: "As Aras Kargo Sports Club, we are having a historic first season in the Turkish Women's Volleyball 1st League. The fact that we will compete in the play-offs in our first ever season is an extremely special achievement for us and Turkish sports. We have been supporting many branches of sports so far. As I said on the first day, our goal is to train 'intelligent, skillful and ethical' players for the national team, to have a fan base that is excited and happy to go to matches, respectful to the opponent and loyal to the team, and to be an inspiring and a role model sports club with its players, coaching staff/support staff and fans. This victory we have achieved in our ever first season is a testament to the dedication and talent of our club and our players on the road to our goal. We will keep moving forward on our play-off journey with the same persistence. I would like to thank all the coaching staff/support staff and the board members, especially our players and head coach Suphi Doğancı."
