In line with its environmental sustainability goals, Aras Kargo resolutely fulfills its responsibility to nature with regular coastal cleaning activities every year. In addition to the company employees, Aras Kargo Women's Volleyball Team players also participated in the coastal cleaning event organized in cooperation with DenizTemiz Derneği / TURMEPA at İzmir İnciraltı beach. 

Having adopted sustainability at the center of its corporate strategy and business discipline, Aras Kargo continues to act with an awareness towards environmental responsibility. Aras Kargo employees, TURMEPA volunteers and Aras Kargo Women's Volleyball Team players Hazal Selin Uygur and Merve Atlıer joined together for nature at the coastal cleaning event organized in cooperation with DenizTemiz Derneği / TURMEPA at İzmir İnciraltı beach. Aras Kargo executives also participated in the event and 42 kilograms of waste was collected from the beach. Aiming to draw attention to environmental pollution and raise social awareness with the event, Aras Kargo once again proved its commitment to sustainability.

Plastic bottles and caps, food packages, cigarette butts, straws and metal beverage cans were among the waste collected after the coastal cleanup. The sorted waste was handed over to municipal teams and the data was transferred to the Zero Waste Blue system (Sıfır Atık Mavi sistem) of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.

Aras Kargo Women's Volleyball Club players Merve Atlıer and Hazal Selin Uygur stated that they supported the event to strengthen environmental awareness and draw attention to the importance of the unifying power of sports.
