Aras Kargo was deemed worthy of the ‘Gold’ award in the ‘Best Marketing Team in the Delivery and Logistics Sector’ category with the platform “We are carrying the Excitement of Football” at the Hammers Awards 2022, the first award ceremony in Turkey that measures the success of marketing teams.
The awards of Hammers Awards 2022, Turkey’s first award program that measures the success of marketing teams, found its winners at the award ceremony held as part of the Marketing Meetup at Wyndham Grand Istanbul Levent on October 18th. As a result of the evaluation consisting of 45 sub-categories formed under 3 main categories, Aras Kargo, Turkey’s leading and innovative Delivery company, was deemed worthy of the Gold award as the best in the ‘Best Marketing Team in the Delivery and Logistics Sector’ category with its platform “We are carrying the Excitement of Football”.
The winners of the Hammers Awards 2022, which was held for the third time this year, are determined by the evaluation of the success of the teams in marketing departments and all sub-departments covering the marketing of all the companies within the borders of Turkey made by the jury consisting of the most valuable CMOs of Turkey. As a result of the evaluations made, Aras Kargo was deemed worthy of the ‘Gold’ award in the ‘Best Marketing Team in the Delivery and Logistics Sector’ category and was selected as the best in its sector.
Billur Burkutoğlu, the Deputy General Manager of Marketing of Aras Kargo, said: “Aras Kargo has been providing services all over Turkey with the motto “Carrying Importance”, traveling as much as to turn around the world 7 times a day, and knocking on more than 1 million doors for many years. In a sense, we have a mission that unites our country from one end to the other. We believe that football is also a unifying force. We decided to support football both because it is in compliance with the DNA of our brand and because it offers important visibility to the wide target audience we appeal to. We have created a platform with the motto “We are carrying the Excitement of Football” and we have signed many new applications under this scope: We have signed a transport sponsorship agreement with 3 major football clubs, and we have achieved significant visibility with the use of led advertisements and 3D carpets. We have organized many competitions and events where we have excited the fans. As a brand covering the entirety of Turkey, we wanted to meet with the Anatolian teams and their audience as well, and we took part in the fields of 14 Anatolian teams with our leading advertisements. Within the scope of the project carried out jointly with TFF and the broadcaster company, we carried the Turkish Cup semi-final and final balls to the field with our mini battery-powered vehicles in 2021 and signed a project that was implemented for the first time in Turkey. We carried the ball to the central point for the starting kick-off and handed over it to the referee with a mini vehicle specially prepared for serving on the football field to emphasize the “contactless delivery” process that we quickly put into practice during the pandemic period. At the beginning of 2022, we became the official transportation sponsor of the Turkey national men’s football team and the e-National men’s football team. Within the scope of this sponsorship, we organized social sponsorship activities with the participation of our esteemed national team players. All of these applications have had very positive impacts on brand visibility. In this sense, we plan to continue e-National sports communication and other communications that bring our brand together with Generation Z by using creative media in the coming period.
