Aras Academy’s First Step Schools Receive International Recognition
“First Step Schools” application of Aras Kargo won silver prize “Best Use of Games and Simulations in Learning” category in the prestigious human resources award Brandon Hall Excellence Awards. This internationally prestigious award marks the third recognition of The First Step Schools. The award will be presented in a ceremony to be held in January in the US.
Winners of Brandon Hall Excellence Awards, applied by 700 major companies representing over 25 industries from 15 countries, were announced. First Step Schools Project, which was launched by Aras Kargo to ensure effective orientation for the newcomers, won silver prize “Best Use of Games and Simulations in Learning” category. Aras Kargo will receive its award in a ceremony to be held in January in the US.
“First Step Schools by Aras Academy aim to guide newcomers at Aras Kargo through their journey of work life, accelerate their adaptation process, and help them concentrate on their job by adapting the corporate culture,” said Aras Kargo General Manager Hikmet Bulduk. He continued, “Having recognized by a wide array of prestigious awards, First Step Schools offers applied training in simulation branches. We are pleased to be recognized by Brandon Hall in the “Best Use of Games and Simulations in Learning” category.”
How does training process work at First Step Schools by Aras Academy?
Within the scope of the one-week orientation training offered through the First Step Schools by Aras Academy, new employees get to know the company, raise awareness in professional life while learning service details offered by Aras Kargo and sales techniques focusing on the customer needs. Each shcool trains up to 20 to 25 students per week. The orientation process provides employees with technical information and occupational health and safety.
At the end of their orientation process at the First Step Schools by Aras Academy, employees watch “Sharing the Experience” videos in which department managers, couriers and agents state their expectations and Aras Kargo’s experienced couriers, agents and managers share their experienced, helping the newcomers to become a fully competent shipment professional.
Currently available in 4 major cities, namely İstanbul, Ankara, İzmir and Bursa, Aras Kargo First Step Schools are expected to expand in new locations.
