Aras Kargo, serves 12 million individuals, institutions and organizations every month with 13 Regional Directorates, 29 Transfer Centers, 825 Branch Offices, a 4000 more than vehicle fleet and 12 thousand employees, while shipping over 450 thousand deliveries from one point of Turkey to another every day.
Aiming to develop Aras Kargo into a 100-year-old global brand, Aras Kargo had posted market high 13% growth in business by year-end 2015 with a turnover of close to 900 million Turkish Lira. Indeed, over the past 6 years Aras Kargo has seen consecutive growth of around 16%. The major part of its investments over the past 2 years has been directed to vehicle renewal and technologies such as hand terminals, software, and conveyor systems in towards the automation of our system.
While running operations carrying 5.4 million parcels and 3.1 million files every month, Aras is also actively minimizing its carbon footprint, by creating a younger fleet and by operating the largest 100% electric vehicle fleet in Turkey. Aras Kargo also proudly positions itself as a ‘woman friendly’ company, being the only CEP company in Turkey to have signed the Women’s Empowerment Principles of the United Nations. As part of our pledge to the UN, we have taken numerous steps towards honoring related commitments, ranging from setting a female employment quota to facilitating leave periods in order to accommodate the most difficult part of a mother's working life, thereby making our company as appealing as possible to potential women employees.
